No one wants to give up independence and personal mobility. A stair lift, also called a chair lift or stairlift, carries you up and down the stairs in a seat that rides on a rail, and it is the simplest way to keep using every floor of your home.
Nationwide Lifts of Southern California can help you choose the right one. We offer three models: the Indy Pinnacle for narrow stairs, the Indy Lux for extra comfort and the Indy Curve for staircases with turns.
The Indy Pinnacle is an affordable, compact stair lift for your home. Its patented helical drive system gives a smooth, comfortable trip, and because the folded chair takes up so little of the stairway, it suits homes where space on the stairs is tight.
The Indy Lux combines elegance with safety. With several seat heights and a large seat, it adjusts to suit almost any rider, which makes it a good choice when comfort matters as much as getting up the stairs.
The Indy Curve is built to the exact measurements of your staircase, so it follows turns and landings that a straight stair lift cannot. Its direct drive motor needs very little maintenance.
A stair lift is the simplest way to take the risk out of a staircase. Nationwide Lifts of Southern California installs stair lifts in Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, for interior stairs and for the exterior steps so common on hillside and coastal properties.
The rail is fixed to the stair treads, so there is no remodeling. The chair runs on rechargeable batteries, stops automatically if it meets an obstacle, and folds out of the way when it is not being used. Call (714) 228-9982 or request a quote to have your stairs measured.
A straight staircase costs the least to equip. A curved staircase needs a rail made to measure, which costs more and takes longer. Our guide to stair lift cost in Southern California explains the factors, and how a stairlift works covers the basics.
Outdoor models are built with weather-resistant materials for sun, rain and sea air. See outdoor stair lifts for beach houses and canyon homes. For wheelchair users, a wheelchair lift or a home elevator is the better choice.
